We all go through hard times.
Maybe someone you trusted wasn't so true,
Maybe you burned someone
and maybe someone burned you.
You were on top and now you're not,
shit happens.

Maybe you were in a car crash,
or lightning struck you down.
Keep your eyes facing forward
and not just at the ground.

Look ahead, Not behind
Because some windows of opportunity
Are very small.
There is always hope for
better things to come.
Look above at the birds flying high,
on a sunny day.
Look at a beautiful sunset and
Watch the water glistening
from the sun's reflection.
Knowing your past is behind you,
Live your life One Day at a Time.

You can't have a high without a low.
Let the pain and the tears
wash the hurt away,
someday will be your last day,
and it might be today.

Knock down the brick wall, 1 brick at a time.
Let the anguish and the tears make you stronger.
God gave you One Life!
And today maybe the last day of your life.
So make the best of it !
