Hello Artists,

We have a few opportunities available that I want to let you all know
about:

1. We are opening our gallery for a two week sales event. We are
turning our little gallery into a arts retail store from May 15-31
and we want to invite you to include your work. This is free to
MINDWEB members and $10 for nonmembers. We are accepting visual arts,
crafts of all kinds, jewellery, etc. All are invited.

2. Memorial Day Weekend, (May 23rd & 24th), we are partnering with
the Buffalo Indie Market to have an indoor/outdoor sales event and
barbeque. Those of you who have taken advantage of the above will
already have your work included. We will also be selling tables
outside for interested individuals. $20 per table per day for non-
members and $15 for members.

3. For Buffalo Pride, and in conjunction with AIDS Community
Services, we will be hosting an LGBT show called "Color" from June
2-14 with an opening on the 5th. We are seeking vibrant work for this
event. We are seeking work from LGBT artists, but we do not exclude
artists who are friends of the LGBT community.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in any
of these opportunities, and of course we would love to see you at
these events. please pass this message along. Thank you!

its water color but if i remember right on that copy i messed around with it on photoshop with the blend tool.

You are welcome. The other self portrait one remind sme of Edward Munz who is that artist that is going to drive me crazy now . . . that down there - what medium are you using here?

(The Van Gogh is quite good you should be so proud of that)

thanx for the feed back sue... glad you like the van gogh. i always thought it ended up looking like a civil war general. here's a painting of the post apocalyptic pic.

Gary - I think it is a cool idea the kids crayons, you know? *smile*

Steph, yes of course that counts, that is art I used to do that all time I loved doing that I have 2 whole scrapbooks for my son I was mental made sure he took a px with everyone I knew and that was so much fun. You are creating, to me that is art.

Rose, your pxs are lovely and I have been trying toproerly photograph the Basilica for years - I have done Ok the celing - I want pxs of that ceiling not enough light.

Mag, yes photography is MOST definitely an art.

Gary, Your work is amazing, I love your vision, the Van Gogh - adore it, I like the darker aspect you show here which is in every one of us some of us do not bring it out, a lot of my writing is quite dark, not sad just stark, your artwork is stark, a lot like Van Gogh and some Picasso - (Have you ever seen his Christ portrait? The 3-d on the cross?) That is what I see with a new twist on it but that Van Gogh whoa - looks like his own self portrait. I have many of them here not originals, I wish but still - You must read: Tormented Genius" an amazing book.
