Ive been alone for about 2 years now. Thou the past year hasnt been too bad due to the fact of a better job and weekends off. Ive just kind of stop looking cause Ive been so busy durning the week and then weekends I catch up on the past week with friends and family. So keeping busy has been helping a lot.

i guess i will continue the agreement i will have been single for exactly a year tomorrow. yes Christmas day i know. still though i refuse to rush into anything and will not lower my standards. once you lower your standards for instant gratification all you are really doing is setting yourself up to get hurt. i have learned this not only through my own relationships but also through the countless number of friends that i helped through bad breakups. i'm not one to intentionally hurt myself, well not anymore anyways. I've learned my lesson. whatever you do don't make that mistake hold out.

That is def true. I've been single for almost a year and I find myself thinking that if it's been this long already I might as well wait it out for somebody really great instead of jumping into something just for the sake of doing it. The standards are on the rise.

Like Aaron, I've also been single for 2+ years now and it definitely has its advantages. As a result, I have become even more particular about what I'm willing to tolerate, and last night's meeting was a shining example, of which I won't go into detail about. To be honest, I don't see my standards lowering at all. If anything they will continue to be on the rise.

I havne't been in a relation ship in just over 2 years and I try to stay optimistic. It has its advantages. I'm broke and stuff and my time will come i guess. I've kinda gotten used to be single but I don't just want to settle either.

hey barb think of this you say it sucks being single around the holidays. think of how much money your saving not buying someone gifts gotta think of the bright side of everything dont be pessimistic
