Hey guys! As you may know, I have been posting a weekly blog about eating healthy on Buffalome called Adventures in the Raw. Because I eat a plant-based mostly raw diet, thats where my focus is but I wanted to ask you guys for any suggestions of things you'd like to see discussed in my weekly posts! Thanks!

I hear ya! I just moved back from California with Whole Foods and Mother's with tons of raw and super healthy options. Do you shop at the Co-op? It fills the void to an extent. Also, have you checked out merge yet!? I would love to hear from you on my blog about your adventures in choosing between raw and cooked food as a semi-raw foodie!!!

Hayley - Actually, for the past month I guess you could say I'm "semi-raw" as well. I just throw in MS products to spice things up once in awhile. I was going to go on a raw diet after finishing the Master Cleanse, but some complications arose and therefore I went back to a "healthier" vegetarian diet again. Unfortunately, I never got to Off the Wall...I miss having whole foods & trader joes around the corner though (like when i was living in dc) with preprepared vegan & veggie dishes gallore! haha.

I love eggplant. You should definitely figure out how to make those and post the recipe!

Welcome Leah! I have had some yummy morningstar products too! I am a semi-raw foodist these days though and try to avoid processed soy products and stick to whole foods! If you are interested at all in that stuff come check out my website rawfoodpunk.com!

Ps did you ever get a chance to try to eggplant "buffalo wings" at Off the Wall when it was open? They were to die for, I bet they would be a great alternative to the veggie chicken tenders with hot sauce...although probably not healthier since they are fried...but yum. I might try to re-create that recipe actually! Ill let you know if I come up with anything good!

Dana & Hayley - I'm right there with you! I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a vegetarian & I haven't felt healthier, it's been just over a year now! I actually enjoy the food that I eat these days & am never grossed out by the "fat" I can visibly see & have to cut off my food. Hayley - I LOVE morningstar products, making veggie chicken tenders & throwing them in my salad with hot sauce is my FAVORITE meal.

Dana-I completely agree! Isn't it fun finding out how good different foods can taste? I find that the healthier my diet becomes the more tasty my food is, you really start to appreciate the integrity and flavor of the whole food instead of drowning it out with salt, fat, etc. Do you eat a lot of meat substitutes?

Here's a solution- go vegetarian! My husband and I did about 2 months ago, and we couldn't be happier. I honestly don't even miss chicken, pork, or even steak- despite the fact that my husband is quite the gourmet home chef and used to make the BEST filet mignon. We are discovering new cuisines from around the world everyday, and have never eaten so healthy. Email me at saylordana gmail com if you want to chat about it.

But there's so much ridiculously good fresh fruit and veggies in the summer to counteract it!! : )
