If you want to experience something truly fascinating, read "A Beautiful Mind" by Sylvia Nasar.

As is the case with many screenplay adaptations, the movie is excellent, but just not as "beautiful" (or truthful) as the book.

I read the book many years ago, lent it to a Math Professor and when she never returned it, I went out and purchased another copy to keep in my private library.

In response to Aaron's comment, yes I have watched the movie Zeitgeist and I believe that it reveals concepts that are worthy of further discussion to say the very least. Zeitgeist also has an addendum available at the same site. It talks about the failings of the monetary system and the ideology of a group trying to initiate a movement known as The Venus Project. There are times that I wonder if the creator of Zeitgeist likens himself to Morpheus from The Matrix. When you review the film for yourself, you'll understand why I make that assertion.
